Glowing Surfboard Beach Towel Holder

Customize your beach house and bring an ocean vibe with this wall-mounted glowing surfboard beach towel holder.
Toss your towels, keys, purse, or beach bag on the surfboard fin after a long day at the beach.
Each surfboard is made with resin and phosphorescent pigment.
The surfboard fin is made with transparent blue resin mixed with white pigment powder to create an ocean wave effect.
Natural, artificial, and black lights charge the phosphorescent pigment to produce a deep blue glow similar to the ocean.
We mix, pour, sand, shape, and apply finish to each glowing surfboard beach towel holder by hand, so the color and amount of glow may slightly vary.
Additionally, we also make reclaimed wood surfboard towel hooks and walnut wood surfboard towel hooks.

 

Resin Surfboard Finish

We sand each surfboard after the resin fully cures to produce a satin/matte sheen.
Next, we apply a food safe, solvent free, non-toxic hard wax to the surfboard beach towel holder.

Interior and Exterior Use

The surfboard beach towel holder can be wall mounted inside or outside.
However, we highly recommend to avoid placing the surfboard in direct sunlight.
Excessive resin damages resin if not carefully maintained periodically.

Charging Glow Powder

First, natural sunlight or artificial UV light charges glow powder best and produces the brightest glow.
Keep in mind, glow powder does not need to receive direct sunlight in order to charge.
Indirect sunlight and artificial light charge the phosphorescent powder to produce a nice glow.
To quickly charge the resin glow powder, we recommend this UV flashlight.
The two recommended wavelengths of UV light are 365 and 395 nanometer.

Recharge and Glow Time

When fully charged, the surfboard glows for roughly 6 to 8 hours.”
Additionally, the glow powder can be charged millions of times.
Even after ten years, the glow powder retains 90 to 95 percent of their original light storing and emitting abilities.

 

Wall Mounting

To make mounting the glowing surfboard beach towel holder easy and secure, we include a z clip wall mounting kit.

We fasten one side of the z clip to the rear of the surfboard with screws before we ship it to you.
Simply fasten the loose side of the z-clip bracket to the wall (preferably a wall stud) to complete the installation.

This listing is for 1 surfboard towel holder.  If you order more than 1 and want them mounted together, please let us know.  Otherwise, we treat each surfboard towel holder as separate items.

Color Options

The only color we currently offer is blue.  However, we plan to release more colors in the very near future.
If you would like a color other than blue, please email us your request.  Please allow 24 hours for us to respond.

Shipping

Resin takes time to fully cure, so please allow 7 to 10 days for the surfboard to ship.

• 10 x 3.25 x 3.5 inches (Length x Width x Depth)
• These measurements may slightly vary.

Please note, depth is measured from rear/underside to the surfboard fin tip.  In other words, this is the distance it sticks out from the wall.
