Each surfboard and surfboard fin are made from reclaimed wood and individually cut, sanded, painted, distressed, and finished with a protective top coat.
As a result, the shape of each surfboard and fin may slightly vary which adds to the character of each piece.

Wall Mounting

To make mounting the wood surfboard towel rack easy and secure, we include a french cleat system mounting kit. We fasten one side of the french cleat to the rear of the surfboard with screws before we ship it to you.
To complete the installation, simply fasten the loose side of the french cleat system to the wall (preferably a wall stud) and you are all set.

Interior and Exterior Wood Finishes

We use a food safe, non-toxic, & solvent free finish for both interior and exterior surfboards.
We use quality reclaimed wood with an interior-rated top coat for interior use.
For exterior use, we use reclaimed wood and an exterior-rated top coat.
Cedar & Cypress wood resist pests and rot, which make both wood species ideal for outdoor use as well as indoor use.

Exterior Finish Benefits

Our exterior finish protect the surfboard towel rack by:

1. Providing UV protection to reduce fading, chipping, and cracking.
2. Adds a protective outer layer to combat moisture, rain, and salty air.
